4. Old cars just aren’t as safe.
5. What’s wrong with a 72-month car payment?
6. My car is an investment.
7. Buying used is just inheriting someone else’s problems.
8. Whatever you want, dear.
9. I just want my kids to have it better than I did.
10. But that new RV will help our family bond.
11. We’ll pay it off when the tax return comes in.
12. I’ll start my budget next month.
13. I’ll worry about the future when it gets here.

It is time for a reality check!

  • Write down a basic list of your expenses
  • Now write down a list of your available funds
  • Do the math
  • Read and study financial literacy, start with Rich Dad Poor Dad.

I want to share a beautiful eulogy that my sister wrote for our father.

“I start by saying that I am very proud to be your daughter, I am very lucky. You leave us, despite you not being here, many treasures.

I was fortunate to feel protected when I was young, hugging to your waist. It was a magical moment that I will always remember. You always made us feel that everything will be alright. That was the kind of protection that you always gave us, without words, with facts.
That paternal protection of the always present, even in silence.
Your presence , protection and goodness always harbored many people.

I was fortunate to learn what it means to be consistent between what we think, say and do . Always taught us by example to be hardworking , serious and responsible . You taught us to be correct, honest and good with words. Your family, friends and people who worked with you always remembered you fondly for the great example you gave us.

I was fortunate to learn to appreciate art and beauty. Through your eyes and your colors , you taught us that beauty is everywhere and we are all hopelessly impressionistic thank to you. If we visit a museum , you are present with us there.

I have the fortune to love reading and aquire knowledge. You taught us to be curious and that there are no limits . You taught us that nothing is impossible , only there are unabled people, and never to give up. Always encouraged us to follow our dreams.

I was fortunate to know a little of that philosophy of yours, so simple. Never complaining and always see the positive side of things. Always showed it to even to your final days and we admire your strength and your way of being.

I was fortunate to know the magic and mystery. And by leaving us on this date, so significant , show us that in every chaos there is always an order, that everything has a hidden meaning .
It’s your message to us that life goes on and it is here to be lived. We celebrate then life and cheer up that we have life because of you.

Thank you for being a role model . All who crossed your path, are glad that have met you , you were a great man , and now you are our angel and our light .

You are a lighthouse that illuminates and guides us .

I hope we can all follow your footsteps . Thank you and farewell my sun.

Te quiero papa lindo.

Good path my old man.”

Hope – Is in your mind!

Today I met a nice guy that is 99 Years old!
I am running a project for a “White House” in the high school of my neighborhood, that will met grown up volunteers with teens pupils,
so I am looking for volunteers, and I met this great guy (old person with a young mind).

I told him about the project and the needs of the place and what struck me most about him, is that he wants to be involve with a purpose, he checks what options are there for him to be useful and what he can contribute actively on it.

He is a great volunteer that works in many projects, one of them is making a green garden in a kinder garden with help of the kids.

What Hope has to do with it? Well in his point of view, hope is within, you make it, you are completely involved in it, and you have passion with the things that go around you.

He stills drive, has a cell phone and is completely active in his daily life. Movement and a good sense of humor are a key ingredient for his life, so this is part of his well being and he arrive to this fantastic age by giving hope to himself. A great attitude!

Hope is in your mind!

I participated in a convention of #Thinkwomen Microsoft and one of the main speakers talked about the importance of leaving a Legacy, a woman legacy, women that achieved things in the workforce and in life, to become role models for other women, girls, coworkers, friends and more.

We are being called to continue our work as women of the 21st century, that achieved and succeed in life, to mentor the next generation to improve themselves, to learn and seek the right solutions for them and their families, to admire and embrace each one of us and most of all to accept who we are and what we want.

After many years of seeking,  studding, searching, asking and trying I can say positively, when you know what you want, when you are true to yourself and get focus in your mission you are unstoppable!

My legacy to you THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK, use it,

write it, read it, allow yourself to believe all what is written on it and as magic you will receive it.

A Song

Today I wanted to share a private story.

My son Yoav, wrote and composed a song, these are the words and lyrics of his song (translated by me).

It’s time to choose where to move on
And see the truth struggling out
We trembled for nothing if a way is not selected

There is no  high light overhead us
That directs our lives
Only we can be comforted with love

It’s time to choose a real love
Hide and run from the pain experienced
What else is left for us except from counting sheep

There is no high light overhead us
That directs our lives
Only we can be comforted with love

For many years a man fall and rose
Many nights he doesn’t sleep
‘ll See you will find the way

There is no high light overhead us
That directs our lives
Only we can be comforted with love

It’s time to choose where to move.

More than a year ago he was enlisted to go to the military band after beeing auditioned and being pass many exams, with a low army profile because a health issue. (For a singer to be, this is an elite band to enroll to).

Having only 18 years old he decided that he will in fact take care of his health issue and alter his army profile in order to be enlisted to his army goal. Yesterday he went to the army for a long period of time.

I share his song with you and wish him well!

Your Thoughts and Writing

Your thoughts have a lot more substance than you might think.

Researchers found that when people wrote down their thoughts on a piece of paper and then threw the paper away, they mentally discarded the thoughts as well. But those who tucked the paper into their pocket were more likely to use them when later making judgments.
The findings suggest that people can treat their thoughts as material, as energy.

“However you tag your thoughts—as trash or as worthy of protection—seems to make a difference in how you use those thoughts.”

In one experiment high school students wrote about what they liked or disliked about their bodies. Half of the participants were told to contemplate their thoughts and then check them for grammar or spelling mistakes. The other half were told to contemplate their thoughts and then throw the paper away in a trash can.
Those who physically hung onto their thoughts were more likely to use them in forming judgments later when asked to rate their bodies on various scales (bad-good, unattractive-attractive, like-dislike).

A similar experiment found that people were even more likely to rely on their thoughts when they placed them in a safe place like their pocket.

This suggests you can magnify your thoughts, and make them more important to you, by keeping them with you in your wallet or purse.

That’s not surprising. When you write something down—whether it’s a thought, intention, or goal—you put your energy into it. It’s like writing a contract to yourself. It is like sending a message to the universe, telling it exactly what you want.

Committing your goals and intentions to paper is a key aspect so try it on THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK and you will know how effective this simple act is in achieving successful outcomes.

Our Reality

We perceive our reality as “the right one” or “the only one”, even though we feel trap or stuck in our thoughts, we do not accept other’s reality or vision of the world.

Doesn’t really matter if relatives or friends or even therapists try to help us see things differently, if we are not ready to do so, it will not happen.

Every cell in our body will deny any type of help or advice, that is why I thought about THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK, no pressure whatsoever, you just decide what  do you want to change in your reality by focusing on new ideas, new contracts, new pursuits, new goals and by keep reading the NLP phrases at the back, you will keep in motion while attracting those things you want to achieve.

To change our lives and relationships, heal our bodies and bring peace to our families and nations requires a shift in the way we use our set of beliefs.

Nobody can help you change anything in your reality if it does not come from you, from your inner self.

Give it a chance and help yourself to be “keep in track” with what you love.

When – What – How – WHY

I received from my dearest sister this TED video to watch, that I enclose at the bottom, about the core values for leadearship.

Great leadership in any area, comes when you have passion, when you have focus, when you have purpose.

Simon Sinek resume this idea as simple as a three cicles like this

I added the When because I beleived is an important ingredient of this equation.

When is action in motion, can be now and can be someday, can be a particular day, but the right action at the right time when the WHY is so powerful, makes the difference.

Grow Rich While You Sleep

Grow rich while you sleep by Ben Sweetland is a most unusual and thought provoking book.

Sleep-suggestion is a remarkably efficient way of directing suggestions to the subconscious during sleep. This method is described and explored in detail in this exceptional book.

“We first think in terms of success before we manifest success” is the first motto he wrote after learning the influence of mind over matter.

Whatever you want out of life, focus on the idea, visualize it before you go to sleep, relax using deep breathing and allow yourself to be free of any type of thinking, leave it to you subconcious (creative mind) while you sleep, continue doing this for many nights and without realizing how, it will show you the way to make it come to you. Be it money, influence, love, respect, or admiration—be it any or all of these—it will be yours in abounding measure.

A man is what his Creative Mind says he is.

When you sleep, your Creative Mind is highly receptive and the Conscious Mind cannot interfere. Send your Creative Mind a message before you go to sleep, and that message sinks in.

Here is a statement I cannot overemphasize! Make sure
you are not merely wishing for the change being considered. As
you have read in so many of my books, wishing is negative.
When you wish for something it is an indication that you do not
expect to get it— otherwise you would not have to wish for it.
The mental state being discussed in this chapter is that
of knowing you are a good businessman, you are a good writer,
you are a great musician— or anything else you may like to be.

Grow Rich— in All Things— While You Sleep.
Five rules are given here for you to follow in gaining full and
satisfying cooperation from your Creative Mind.

  • 1. Before retiring, relax thoroughly— both mentally and physically.
  • 2. Think of your problem. Think it through— but do not fear it. If you were to give a job to another person, you would have to explain what you wanted done. This is true with your Creative Mind. You are about to give it a special assignment, so it is necessary that you have clearly in mind just what it is you desire from your Creative Mind. Do not fear it, because you will be turning it over to an intelligence far greater than the intelligence of your conscious mind.
  • 3. Gain a Success Attitude. If you have developed faith in your Creative Mind, it will be easy to have a success attitude. You will know that it is able, ready and willing to serve you.
  • 4. After you have gone this far, remove all thoughts of the problem from your conscious mind, knowing that the solution will be forthcoming at the right time.

The use of affirmations will accelerate the process to achieve what you want in life.

“I am at peace with myself and the world. Problems facing me
are no longer disturbing because I have made contact with my true
source of intelligence and power. I am guided to do the right thing
at the right time.”

Writing your goals – desires – contracts in THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK will add to this powerful tool your Creative Mind.

The Invisible Counselors

One of the best books available on your way to greatness is Napoleon Hills book Think And Grow Rich in which he explains in detail how to develop a wealth mindset, and achieve success beyond your wildest dreams.

One particular technique: The Invisible Counselors Visualization Exercise was his ultimate technique for sourcing skills, ideas and inspiration.

This is how you do it…

Just before going to sleep at night, close your eyes, and see, in your imagination, a group of people seated with you around a Council Table. Visualize it and try to see it in detail, and  invite anyone you wish to sit at the Council Table.

Have a Definitive purpose for holding these nightly
Council Meetings.
Your Definitive Purpose can be anything you want to change about yourself or your life. Since all this is going on in your
mind, your imagination is the only limit!

Call on the Council Members for the knowledge you wish
each to contribute.
The idea here is to start a discussion with these people on any topic of your choice.

Examples of using these techniques were used also by:

Edison has been quoted as saying, “Ideas come from space. It’s hard to believe but it’s true. Ideas come from out of space.”

Elias Howe, the inventor of the sewing machine. You may not know this, but Elias got the inspiration to create the sewing machine from a dream. Here’s how he explains the dream…
“I was in Africa and was being chased by wild cannibals. They caught me and placed me in a huge pot. I kept trying to get out but they kept forcing me back in with spears.”
The spears Howe saw in his dream had holes in the tips. It was this bit of information that gave him the idea for the sewing machine needle.

“While the meetings of my cabinet may be purely fictional , and the meetings existent only in my own imagination, they have led me into glorious paths of adventure, rekindled an appreciation of true greatness, encouraged creative endeavor, and emboldened the expression of honest thought.” Hill’s quote.

Another book that was recently published is Outwitting the Devil from Napoleon Hill and was hidden since 1938, is another valuable resource to read.
