It works!

One of my dreams or contracts with myself that I asked in my card that keeps me on track was to loose weight. I have been dealing with this issue for almost 20 years.

I always being into sports and love to entertain family and friends, but every year put on some weight. Year by year I decided to try to loose some of this weight but without any success. I keep a card in my wallet and of my resolutions was to get off some kilograms of my weight. All other issues that I write, always work fine with me but the weight issue was a difficult one and hard to complete.

Until one day I saw a picture like the one below and immediately decided that I will go for it. So I joined Sivan Ofiri and her team Helit and went into a class of “Simple loose weight with Sivan Ofiri”. At the beginning I thought no way I can get rid of gluten and sugar, but as the weeks go past I realized with her teachings that we get some much power to the food we eat, that we loose track when we are hungry and when we are full. Most of the classes were not dealing with food but with Consciousness.

At the end of 10 sessions I couldn’t believe myself … it worked!

So I am proud to say that it is really simple and I no longer give my power to eating disorders and sugar addictions.

The card that keeps you on track it works, when you are focus on what you want it finds the way as magic, to provide the right path to your success.

Thanks to Helit and Sivan! You just helped me to achieve one of my dreams.

Wealth Secrets

Can we earn real money after our 50’s, 40’s or less? Can we change our attitudes to wealth?

In How Rich People Think, author Steve Siebold compares the thoughts, habits and philosophies of the middle class to the world class when it comes to wealth. If you follow the beliefs, philosophies, and strategies of the rich and take action, you have a legitimate shot at becoming a millionaire. The secret is not in the mechanics of money, but in the level of thinking that generates it. Once you learn to embrace this, your earning potential is limitless.

The middle class believes formal education is the answer to acquiring wealth, yet very few academics are wealthy. They seek advanced degrees and certifications and are confounded when these things don’t bring them riches.

The middle class trades time for money. The world class trades ideas that solve problems for money.

The poverty class talks about and things of the past; the middle class talks about other people; and the world class talks about ideas.

mind

Ask this critical thinking question:

“At what level of monetary success do I feel most comfortable?

a) poverty class

b) middle class

c) world class.

” Where you feel most comfortable reflects your self-image, and most likely, your current status. If you want to become wealthier, begin by raising your self-image by upgrading the self-talk you use regarding money and finances. If all you do is chase more money, you are simply attacking the effect. The cause is how you think, and if you improve the cause, the effect will take care of itself.

A must read  You Were Born Rich, by Bob Proctor.

Write down the most important goals you want to achieve in the next twelve months in THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK and make a commitment to concentrate on achieving them.

Champions make decisions based on facts, not feelings. The world class also uses this understanding of truth and fact in their mental programming. The great ones know the conscious mind functions most effectively on fact, while the subconscious can be programmed with truth. Since the subconscious is unable to make the distinction between fact and truth, champions program their subconscious minds to believe their visions, dreams and ideas as truths. Because the subconscious doesn’t have the ability to reject an idea, it accepts it as truth and begins to create behaviors that are congruent with this new “truth.” The conscious mind knows this “truth” is not fact, and tension begins to build between the conscious and subconscious, creating cognitive dissonance. As a result, the two go to work to create congruency. The great ones are not only aware of the difference between truth and fact, but they also know how to use them both to get what they want.

Your highest values

goals

The end of the calendar year is a great time  to reflect on our highest values.
Identifying what is most important to you can help clarify your purpose and align your goals to support your greatest dreams and desires.
This is why is specific time is better than any other to set our goals anew for the coming year.
You can start right now with pen and paper — or even this very moment at your computer.
Capture your thoughts—as fast as you can—about the things you value most in your life. Writing fast helps you outrun the editor function of the conscious mind that would otherwise censor your creativity.
Let your imagination go freewheeling. Be creative, and release any concerns about getting it perfect. Be playful. When you relax, play, and explore, your priorities will emerge for you.
When you’re done, pick the five things from your list that are most important to you. Recognize what gives you pleasure, contributes to your sense of excellence, and aligns with your true self.
Take additional time before the year ends to craft specific goals that match these values. Clearly defining your goals gives you greater opportunity to fulfill them.
Write in THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK the five things most important that will empower your life next year, then keep it in your wallet during 2014, see that magic will come to you.

The Life of Leonardo Da Vinci
Here is a list of DaVinci’s major accomplishments:
“Leonardo The Artist”: he transformed the direction of art.  He was the pioneer for many different ideas and methods in the art world.
“Leonardo The Architect”: a major focus in general principles of design.
“Leonardo The Inventor”: made plans for a flying machine, helicopter, parachute, and many other marvels including the extendable ladder, 3 speed gear shift, machine for cutting screw heads, bicycle, adjustable monkey wrench, snorkel, hydraulic jacks, revolving stage, etc… More than any single invention, DaVinci deserves credit for pioneering the concept of automation.
“Leonardo the Military Engineer”: he made plans for weapons that would be deployed 400 years later including the armored tank, machine gun, mortar, guided missile, and submarine.
“Leonardo The Scientist”: Significant contributions in Anatomy, Botany, Geology and Physics

The Seven Da Vinci – Principles

Curiosita DaVinci had an intense desire to understand the essence of things.  This led him to developing of such an investigative, curious lifestyle. DaVinci noted that is also a good idea to go away and relax from your work so when you come back, your judgement will more clear. The questions that engage our thought on a daily basis reflect our life purpose and influence the quality of our lives.  By developing an open mind, we can broaden our universe and improve our ability to travel through it.

Leonardo’s notebooks demonstrate his curiosità.

Dimostrazione “The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions.” Learning to think like DaVinci requires eye opening work of questioning our own opinions, Create Affirmations – Strengthen your resilience like DaVinci by writing out affirmations to inspire you in dealing with your greatest challenges.  Some examples of DaVinci’s affirmations are: “I do not depart from my furrow”, “Obstacles do not bend me”, “Every obstacle is destroyed through rigor”, “I shall continue”, “I never tire of being useful”.

A commitment to test knowledge through, experience, persistence, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.

Sensazione The continual refinement of the senses, especially sight, as the means to enliven experience.

LISTENING AND HEARING Layered Listening – Once or twice each day, pause for a few moments and listen to the sounds around you.  Peel back the different layers of sound in your head. Listen For Silence – practice listening for the space between sounds Practice Silence – experiment with a day of silence.

AROMATIC AWARENESS Avoid general descriptions of scents like “that smells good” or “that stinks”.  Think about the smells and use a wider vocabulary in your aromatic descriptions.

TASTE

TOUCHING AND FEELING “The secret of sensitive “feeling” touch is an attitude of receptivity, learning to “listen” deeply with your hands and whole body.”

SYNESTHESIA Synesthesia – the merging of the senses.

Sfumato  Incubation and Intuition – DaVinci said “the greatest geniuses sometimes accomplish more when they work less.”  Incubation is most effective when you alternate, as DaVinci did, between periods of intense, focused work and rest.  Without periods of intense, focused work, there is nothing to be incubated. Take Time for Solitude and Relaxation. A willingness to embrace ambiguity, paradox, and uncertainty.

Arte/Scienza Whole-Brain thinking. The development of the balance between art and science, logic and imagination. Left Brain: Logical, analytical thinking. Right Brain: Imaginative, big picture thinking.

“Study the science of art and the art of science.” Leonardo DaVinci

Corporalita The cultivation of grace, ambidexterity, fitness, and poise. Balancing the body and the mind.

Connessione recognizing and appreciating that all phenomena are connected.

Make all your goals SMART: S- Specific. M- Measurable. A- Accountability. R- Realistic and Relevant. T- Time Line.

Eulogy

I want to share a beautiful eulogy that my sister wrote for our father.

papi0400

“I start by saying that I am very proud to be your daughter, I am very lucky. You leave us, despite you not being here, many treasures.

I was fortunate to feel protected when I was young, hugging to your waist. It was a magical moment that I will always remember. You always made us feel that everything will be alright. That was the kind of protection that you always gave us, without words, with facts.
That paternal protection of the always present, even in silence.
Your presence , protection and goodness always harbored many people.

I was fortunate to learn what it means to be consistent between what we think, say and do . Always taught us by example to be hardworking , serious and responsible . You taught us to be correct, honest and good with words. Your family, friends and people who worked with you always remembered you fondly for the great example you gave us.

I was fortunate to learn to appreciate art and beauty. Through your eyes and your colors , you taught us that beauty is everywhere and we are all hopelessly impressionistic thank to you. If we visit a museum , you are present with us there.

I have the fortune to love reading and aquire knowledge. You taught us to be curious and that there are no limits . You taught us that nothing is impossible , only there are unabled people, and never to give up. Always encouraged us to follow our dreams.

I was fortunate to know a little of that philosophy of yours, so simple. Never complaining and always see the positive side of things. Always showed it to even to your final days and we admire your strength and your way of being.

I was fortunate to know the magic and mystery. And by leaving us on this date, so significant , show us that in every chaos there is always an order, that everything has a hidden meaning .
It’s your message to us that life goes on and it is here to be lived. We celebrate then life and cheer up that we have life because of you.

Thank you for being a role model . All who crossed your path, are glad that have met you , you were a great man , and now you are our angel and our light .

You are a lighthouse that illuminates and guides us .

I hope we can all follow your footsteps . Thank you and farewell my sun.

Te quiero papa lindo.

Good path my old man.”

Monique Mizrahi

My Mother

Difficult times right now for my mother, she is 80 years old and separate from my father with whom she lived for the last 56 years, because of his illness and he was transferred to a nursery home.Even though these thought days are well noted in her face and body,
she is a strong woman and a fighter.

For the last five years she passed three operations, two of them for hip replacement in the same place, so imagine the pain she must have had for so long.

The point is that she filled THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK and one of the things that she wrote down was, I walk, simple as that but difficult to prove it.

She kept visualizing herself walking around, walking.

Now after 3 years after her surgery, she walks incredible, without any help whatsoever.

In these days she faces another major impact in her life, might lose her partner soon, and with determination and strength she focuses in what she wishes and dreams.

She had been an immigrant twice, the first time when she was 22 from France to Colombia in the 1950’s and the second time when she was 65 from Colombia to Spain, I believe these episodes help to make her a strong woman and have a good self esteem which proves a very valuable value
to have.

I am very proud of her!

Your Thoughts and Writing

Your thoughts have a lot more substance than you might think.

Researchers found that when people wrote down their thoughts on a piece of paper and then threw the paper away, they mentally discarded the thoughts as well. But those who tucked the paper into their pocket were more likely to use them when later making judgments.
toughts
The findings suggest that people can treat their thoughts as material, as energy.

“However you tag your thoughts—as trash or as worthy of protection—seems to make a difference in how you use those thoughts.”

In one experiment high school students wrote about what they liked or disliked about their bodies. Half of the participants were told to contemplate their thoughts and then check them for grammar or spelling mistakes. The other half were told to contemplate their thoughts and then throw the paper away in a trash can.
Those who physically hung onto their thoughts were more likely to use them in forming judgments later when asked to rate their bodies on various scales (bad-good, unattractive-attractive, like-dislike).

A similar experiment found that people were even more likely to rely on their thoughts when they placed them in a safe place like their pocket.

This suggests you can magnify your thoughts, and make them more important to you, by keeping them with you in your wallet or purse.

That’s not surprising. When you write something down—whether it’s a thought, intention, or goal—you put your energy into it. It’s like writing a contract to yourself. It is like sending a message to the universe, telling it exactly what you want.

Committing your goals and intentions to paper is a key aspect so try it on THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK and you will know how effective this simple act is in achieving successful outcomes.

Our Reality

We perceive our reality as “the right one” or “the only one”, even though we feel trap or stuck in our thoughts, we do not accept other’s reality or vision of the world.

Doesn’t really matter if relatives or friends or even therapists try to help us see things differently, if we are not ready to do so, it will not happen.

Every cell in our body will deny any type of help or advice, that is why I thought about THE CARD THAT KEEPS YOU ON TRACK, no pressure whatsoever, you just decide what  do you want to change in your reality by focusing on new ideas, new contracts, new pursuits, new goals and by keep reading the NLP phrases at the back, you will keep in motion while attracting those things you want to achieve.

To change our lives and relationships, heal our bodies and bring peace to our families and nations requires a shift in the way we use our set of beliefs.

Nobody can help you change anything in your reality if it does not come from you, from your inner self.

Give it a chance and help yourself to be “keep in track” with what you love.
